Yura Health is a healthtech benefits platform (insurance cost transparency and member education).
Patients and employers needed clear cost information for medical procedures, but existing systems were opaque. Yura wanted users to see exact out-of-pocket costs for procedures given their insurance.
Horizon Labs built a cost-transparency engine:
We launched an initial prototype in the DC area. Employees and patients can now compare procedure prices (as with Kaiser’s style) before booking. Dan Lee (Yura CEO) praised our “fast turnaround” and responsive sprints. The platform improved transparency and user confidence.
Cost-transparency engine: insurance input flow, NPI + public pricing data ingestion, backend deductible/copay logic, and search UI to display out-of-pocket procedure costs.
