Client Overview:

‍Urbane aimed to create a social networking platform centered around organizing private dinners to facilitate networking among individuals.

Challenge:

‍Starting from just an idea, Urbane wanted to develop an app where a host could invite friends to a dinner, and those friends could invite others, expanding the network. The challenge was to create an intuitive interface that managed invitations and RSVPs via SMS and handled payments, all while fostering new connections.

Solution:

Developed an interface for SMS invitations, streamlining the process of organizing dinners.
Implemented features allowing guests to invite additional friends, managing limited seating capacities.
Ensured the app handled prepayments for dinners, enhancing the user experience.

Results:

Delivered a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within two months.
Enabled hosts to effortlessly organize networking dinners, expanding social circles.
Although the project was eventually paused, the MVP was built according to the founder's requirements on-time and didn't break.
