Sick Day Sports Club is a curated experiences marketplace. Unlike open marketplaces, the value depends on trust and quality control: the platform must enforce who can list, what they can offer, and how visibility works—otherwise quality degrades and operations become manual.

Problem: They needed to launch quickly while maintaining a “curated” experience:

• Trust requirement: hosts must be certified/approved before being promoted
• Tiered offering model: different host tiers needed different visibility and pricing rules
• Booking edge cases: minimum group sizes, “free” experiences, and controlled inventory needed to work reliably
