Client Overview:

‍Rapic was an internal initiative to create a product that automates code deployment from GitHub repositories to hosting platforms, aiming to reduce DevOps overhead.

Challenge:

‍Recognizing a recurring need for automating deployment pipelines across various projects, the goal was to develop a SaaS solution that simplifies this process for developers.

Solution:

• Designed and built a cloud automation platform that integrates with GitHub.
• Enabled automatic deployment of code to hosting platforms, including containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Developed the MVP over three months, incorporating feedback for six months thereafter.

Results:

• Successfully launched the MVP, demonstrating the feasibility of the automation tool.
• Although the product didn't gain the necessary traction and funding for continuation, the project showcased innovative solutions in deployment automation.
