We built and scaled our own marketplace MVP on Sharetribe in 2022 before the Sharetribe team invited us into their Expert network. Can you take over someone else's code?
Yes: that's most of the rescue lane. We review the codebase free first and give you an honest verdict on what's salvageable before you commit to anything.
Who owns the marketplace during the transition?
You do, throughout. Your marketplace lives in your Sharetribe account, and all work happens in your repo. Nothing we touch changes your ownership.
What if my old developer won't hand over access?
Your Sharetribe account and its code stay yours regardless. Sharetribe can help restore access and connects operators with new Experts when the last one wasn't a fit. We've picked up mid-project more than once.
